Who Am I?
I am currently serving as a Planning Commissioner for the City of South Jordan, representing District 1; and also serving as Vice-Chair.
I am a former chair and member of the West Jordan Planning and Zoning Commission. Additionally, until 2018, I served on the Western Stampede Committee, overseeing Concessions in 2011-12 and Admissions in 2013, Chair-Elect in 2014 and from 2015-18, the Chair of the Western Stampede PRCA Rodeo (www.westernstampede.com).
Professionally, I am employed as the Director of Pharmacy and Medicare Services for a Utah-based health insurance company.
Additionally, I am the co-founder of the Foundation for Children and Youth with Diabetes, Inc., a West Jordan-based 501c3 non-profit organization that operates diabetes camps in Utah and served for three terms (12 years) on the Board of Directors of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association. I have previously been a candidate for South Jordan City Council, West Jordan City Council, Utah State House of Representatives and Jordan School District Board of Education.
An Eagle Scout and graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in Political Science and minors in Communications and History, I've been happily married to my wife Julie and we have 5 amazing children and are proud to call South Jordan home.
South Jordan helped make me who I am. I was educated at South Jordan Elementary, Monte Vista Elementary and was part of the first class at South Jordan Middle School.
