Nathan Gedge Nathan Gedge, is a two-term member of the West Jordan City Planning and Zoning Commission (2008-2013), currently serving as chairperson and in his first term as a member of the West Jordan Western Stampede Steering (Executive) Committee as chair of the Ticketing and Parking Subcommittee, serving as the Concessions Chair in 2011 and 2012.. He was previously a candidate for West Jordan City Council (District 1); Utah State House of Representatives (District 42) and the Jordan School District Board of Education (Precinct 7). He is hoping to become your next Mayor of Utah's newest First-Class City (more than 100,000 residents). Nathan Gedge is also a co-founder and member of the Board of Trustees of the Foundation for Children and Youth with Diabetes, Inc. (FCYD), a non-profit, 501{c}3 organization that operates Utah's diabetes camp for children, FCYD Camp UTADA. Additionally, he is a life-member and is serving his third-term on the Board of Directors of the Diabetes Education and Camping Association and is a member of the Conference committee, chairing the Program Subcommittee and former chair of the 2007 PEAK Utah Conference and DTreat board liaison. An Eagle Scout, Nate is a proud graduate of the University of Utah with a degree in political science and minors in communications and history. Professionally, he is employed as the Director of Pharmacy and Medicare Services for EMI Health (formerly Educators Mutual Insurance Association), a Utah-based healthcare plan. He is also a freelance insulin pump trainer, certified by Medtronic Diabetes (Minimed), Roche Diagnostics (Accu-Chek, Disetronic), Smiths Medical (Deltec), Omnipod and One Touch (Animas) and a pharmacy benefits consultant.. Nate is married to his wife Julie and they are the parents of Jackson, Abbey, Taylor, Libby and Stockton along with their furry children Leia and Princess. Born and raised in South Jordan and Sterling (Sanpete County), Utah, they are residents of West Jordan, Utah.
